Refund and Returns Policy

Returns


If you are unsatisfied with our product for any reason you will have time before we do installation of this product at your property, and you will be eligible for a full 100% refund. But after or during the installation by us or by any independent contractor arranged by us a partial refund may be given, this is because the services we or our independent contractor provide are perishable and once delivered are non-returnable, hence, after the installation is done or during the installation, we can only offer you partial refund on the full product’s price including installation. On average, we may offer you 50% of the total price you paid including installation. If you have not made any decision about the refund/installation, we recommend you postpone the installation until you are fully satisfied or can claim a full refund before installation is commenced.

A return authorization must be requested within 14 days of your order and/or before the installation is completed, whichever comes first. You can claim a refund by emailing us at info@secureyourproperty.com.au. We will email you a refund form to complete and send back to us via return email.

Returned Product(s) must be in their original packaging, returned in full along with all included accessories, and must not be damaged in any way by the customer during the time the item is in the customer’s possession. You should ask for the packaging from our technician after they have completed the installation at your property and keep it in a damage-free environment.

If you return a Product (i) without a return authorization, (ii) without all parts and accessories originally included with your purchase or (iii) with damaged parts, SECURE YOUR PROPERTY retains the right to either refuse acceptance of such return or charge you the original price of the Product (our buying price) or the retail value of the missing parts and accessories, whichever is higher.

Shipping charges and Government taxes on return:

Shipping and handling charges and taxes paid are not refundable.

You are responsible for and must prepay all return shipping charges and you assume the risk of loss or damage to the returned Product(s) while in transit back to us.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send it back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable) for example any item not in its original condition or it is damaged or has some missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Once we receive your return and it is inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. This inspection process may take up to 10 business days.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 10 business days.

Late or missing refunds.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again, then contact your financial institution, it may take time before you see the transaction of refund.

Refund on Clearance, promotional Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular-priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only exchange items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@secureyourproperty.com.au and we will provide you further instructions on where to return the item for an exchange. Please note that we cannot accept exchanges after the installation is completed.
